I thought nothing could stop my disease, but now I have hope that I can be saved.
My beautiful family ❤❤❤
James and I have been married since November 2008, we met at work and have been together ever since. He is the glue that holds us together and I'm so thankful to have someone who cares so much for me 😍 we also have our handsome young men, Quin-9 (3rd grade) and Trase-7 (1st grade). They are definitely our crazy little boys! They both love to run, play, and do insane boy things. I can't wait to be able to run with them again, play their awesome games, and do all the fun stuff I can't do right now because of this nasty disease. We've got high hopes for our future now, and it feels amazing!! ❤ |
The drug I am currently on for my ms is Tysabri (natalizumab). It is a drug that can cause the brain disease PML. In general, PML has a mortality rate of 30-50 percent in the first few months following diagnosis but depends on the severity of the underlying disease and treatment received. Those who survive PML can be left with severe neurological disabilities. It is a terrible feeling knowing that I am risking my life trying to slow down a disease that is ruining my life. My boys need their mommy and I want to do whatever it takes to be around for them.
